Marine Technology Summer Camp

Dear Marine Educators,

In an effort to increase the ability for undergraduate students to use marine equipment/technologies, the Marine Technology Society (MTS) is partnering with Northwestern Michigan College to offer a one week summer “camp”.

During this week, students will first hand have the opportunity to use a variety of technologies, log ship time on research vessels conducting research using the technologies, and learning about several applications of the technologies. This program is not just for engineering/technology majors, this experience is designed to welcome students of all disciplines potentially interested in using these technologies in their careers.
