Service Learning

Service learning is an educational approach integrating learning objectives with community service. The RSC greatly values this appraoch to experiential learning, as it allows students to identify with current environmental community issues, and how they lead to scientific research.

Service learning hours and projects can be completed at the RSC through many different venues including an International Coastal Cleanup (ICC), garden maintenance, and much more! The following photos show many students completing an International Coastal Cleanup on Presque Isle State Park.
