What is a Native Plant?

A Native Plant has evolved in an area over time and has formed significant relationships with other indigenous wildlife. For example, adult Monarch Butterflies pollinate Milkweeds, and in turn, Milkweeds are the larval host plant for Monarch caterpillars.

How are the plants chosen for this sale?

The selection of North American Native Plants included in this sale are hardy(perennial) in our region.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit and debit cards.

When and where can I pick up my purchases?

Plant pick up will be held on June 6th and 7th, 2025 from 10 am to 2 pm both days at the Gannon University Greenhouse, 317 Myrtle Street, Erie, PA 16507.

Is delivery available?

No, you must be able to pick up your purchases on either June 6th or 7th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Gannon University Greenhouse, 317 Myrtle Street, Erie, PA 16507.

Can I return my plants?

No, however, refunds will be made if we are not able to fulfill your order (i.e crop failure).

What size pots are the plants grown in?

Pot size is indicated in the information section of each variety; the sizes include:

  • #1= one gallon pot
  • #2= two gallon pot
  • #5= five gallon pot.
