What is a Native Plant?
A Native Plant has evolved in an area over time and has formed significant relationships with other indigenous wildlife. For example, adult Monarch Butterflies pollinate Milkweeds, and in turn, Milkweeds are the larval host plant for Monarch caterpillars.
How are the plants chosen for this sale?
The selection of North American Native Plants included in this sale are hardy(perennial) in our region.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit and debit cards. No plants will be available for purchase during pick up.
When and where can I pick up my purchases?
Plant pick up will be held on June 7th and 8th, 2024 from 10 am to 2 pm both days at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, 301 Peninsula Drive, Erie, PA 16505.
Is delivery available?
No, you must be able to pick up your purchases on either June 7th or 8th from 10 am to 2 pm at the Tom Ridge Environmental Center, 301 Peninsula Drive, Erie, PA 16505.
Can I return my plants?
No, however, refunds will be made if we are not able to fulfill your order (i.e crop failure).
What size pots are the plants grown in?
Pot size is indicated in the information section of each variety; the sizes include:
- #1= one gallon pot
- #2= two gallon pot
- #5= five gallon pot.
