Position Opening: Marine Fisheries Operations Manager

Administers and directs select on and off site programs of the Fisheries Management Division of the Marine Resources Commission. Position manages the collection, analysis and interpretations of fisheries data and information, and use of such information in developing fisheries plans, reports, and presentations affecting marine fisheries management. Directs the computer-based permitting and quota monitoring programs; manages Mandatory Reporting, Biological Sampling and statistics staff involved in administering various limited entry programs, quota tracking, permitting requirements and database/statistical functions; provides direction and input into work plans and techniques; provides detailed written and verbal evaluations on issues for the commission, with the objective of completely informing the members and providing quality data and information.
